let me gaze upon you
You are so very special
Let me contemplate you
and admire in you
the man always docile to divine inspirations.

Let me gaze upon you
and draw from you the patience for inner changes.

Let me gaze upon you
and absorb the light that radiates from your wisdom.

Let me gaze upon you
and delve into the mysterious love that livens up your faith.

Let me gaze upon you
and plunge into the infinite bliss which dwells in you.

Let me gaze upon you
and pause at length to instill your strength in me
so that I may pursue my journey to the heart of God.

Let me gaze upon you
and enter into your prayer-filled silence, to agree with you
to the Father's works, the actions of the Spirit, the life of Jesus.

Joseph,
you, the man of inscape,
lead me on the path of true freedom
so my gaze can espouse the transparency of yours.
