1942-1943



FOUNDING

In September 1942, Father Louis-Joseph Bouchard, O.M.I., parish priest, wrote to the superior general and proposed a new project to her : opening a boarding house for the young women working at the cotton mill. The house would accommodate 64 young women. The project started on October 23.

DEPARTURE
On August 2, 1943, the sisters withdrew from Welland due to the insufficient numbers of boarders.
