60 years of mission in Brazil

60 years of mission in Brazil Let us praise God for the 60 years of life and mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Hyacinthe in the region of Brazil. How many graces were received, how many smiles were discovered, how many consciences were formed in the community life, in the visits and the articulation of the life of the local Church.

The fraternal presence of the General Government and sisters from Canada and Lesotho has given a touch of grace and invites us to renew our mission.

The Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated by Bishop Edivalter, bishop of the diocese of Floriano, Piauí, and several priests and persons related to the history of the Sisters of Brazil attended.

People associated with the charisma of the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Hyacinthe animated the evening in an original way by creatively reminding us of the arrival of the first sisters in the country.

The evening ended with a festive dinner with the participation of all the people of God invited to this celebration.

Thank you Lord for 60 years of mission, gratitude and hope! The mission continues! “Let’s expand the space of our tents!”
