GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Eriksdale is situated 90 miles north west of Winnipeg and approximately 10 miles to the east of Lake Manitoba.

FOUNDING
In 1973, Sister Odile Saint-Pierre, having opted to work as a full time librarian, searched for a position in Winnipeg. A pilot project was being established to coordinate the school libraries of Lakeshore Division which covered twelve locations, one of which was Eriksdale.

VARIOUS COMMITMENTS
1973-1986: School libraries : coordinating of school libraries of Lakeshore Division.
1973-1983: Catechesis: coordinating of religious instruction in the following localities: Dog Creek, Eriksdale, Lundar, St-Ambroise, and Vogar.
1974: Care of the sick, nurse's aide at Eriksdale Hospital.
1986: Teaching at Eriksdale School, Grade 7 home room teacher

DEPARTURE
This mission was closed in June 2007.
